Parker Electric Cylinders
Parker has one of the most complete electric cylinder lines available, including high-force ball screw cylinders, extremeforce roller screw cylinders, and low- to medium-capacity lead screw/ball screw versions.
ETH Electric Cylinders
The Parker ETH Series is the next generation of the industry proven ET Series. This high-force, ball-screw driven, electric cylinder employs a dramatically new and improved ball nut and screw design paired with over-sized thrust bearings in order to attain industry leading force density and allowing it to compete with similarly sized roller screw and hydraulic products.
Relative to its predecessor this means a dramatic increase in force output allowing the designer to reduce one frame size and attain the same or better performance, which equates to space savings and cost reduction. The ETH is ideally suited for thrust type applications such as pressing, bending and forming and offers significant control advantages over typical fluid power solutions.
- 5 frame sizes (ISO 32, 50, 80, 100 and 125)
- Oversized ball screw and thrust bearings
- Max thrust- 114,000 N
- Max speed- 1.7 ms
- Max stroke- 2 m
- Duty Cycle- 100 percent
Electric Tubular Linear Motor - ETT Series
Parkers ETT Series, tubular style linear motor offers a unique solution for machine builders, OEMs, and users alike. The tubular motor is made up of two main components; the stator with integrated feedback (body) and the rod (shaft) with embedded magnets. The ETT is characterized by its high speed, high acceleration and dynamic positioning capability, giving superior control and lower overall cost of ownership as compared to typical pneumatic positioners, due to the high efficiency and overall energy savings.
The ETTs linear motor technology eliminates the need for an additional belt or screw, gearhead and motor as in many electromechanical positioners creating greater performance in a smaller overall package. The ETT is ideally suited for any pick and place or linear handling application requiring high dynamic positioning.
- ISO 15552:2005-12 mounting footprint
- Continuous thrust- 8 to 118 N
- Peak thrust- 32 to 474 N
- Max speed- 4 m/s
- Max Accel- 200 m/s2
- IP67 rated
XFC Extreme Force Cylinder
Parker’s XFC series an Extreme Force Electric Thrust Cylinder featuring roller screw, drive technology. This industrially hardened cylinder product utilizes an all steel construction and is manufactured to standard metric hydraulic tie rod design. The resulting cylinder offers significantly greater levels of control in addition to being an energy efficient fluid power substitute.
Utilizing roller screw technology allows the XFC to achieve far greater thrust capacities than typical electric cylinders; a maximum thrust up to 356,000N (80,000lbs). The key to the roller screw is the utilization of planetary rollers in place of typical ball bearings providing an increased number of contact surfaces between the screw shaft and the roller nut, yielding greater stiffness and load capacity and making it ideal for shock loading applications.
- Frame Size- 75, 90, 115, 140, 165, 190
- Roller screw technology
- Max Thrust- 356 kN
- Max Speed- 1 m/s
- Anti-rotate rod option
- All steel construction
